New Wasserman Boxing/ Team Sauerland signing, unbeaten super bantamweight Razor Ali spoke to Southpaw Jab's Adam Thorn about his astonishing rise from asylum seeker with no grasp of the English language or boxing to where he is now.

The charismatic Ali is looking at a big future in the sport and his potential matches the fascinating, difficult story he’s had making it all a possibility.

A six month journey from Iran at 18 led him to a boxing gym in Limehouse run by Mickey Helliet. Homeless and penniless, Razor has no regrets, “the journey started from there. I’m now signed with the biggest agency in the world. I’m really happy.”
